Media & Files

In TheraTap, you can store and organize images, videos, and documents centrally. Media are stored directly with the patient or with a treatment, so you always have all important materials at hand.

Media management includes:

  • Images — photos of findings, injuries, progress
  • Videos — gait analyses, movement studies, therapy progress
  • Documents — lab results, X-rays, expert reports, PDFs

Media can be uploaded and used in various places:

  1. Open the treatment or patient record

    Navigate to the desired treatment or patient record.

  2. Open the media section

    Click the Media button at the bottom of the screen (in the treatment) or switch to the media tab in the patient record.

  3. Upload files

    Upload files via:

    • Click the upload button — select files from your device
    • Drag & drop — drag files directly into the upload area
    • Camera — take a photo directly on mobile devices
  4. Organize media

    Uploaded media appear in the patient’s gallery, sorted by type:

    • Images — thumbnail preview
    • Videos — playable player
    • Documents — download link with file name

In the patient record, you will find all of the patient’s media collected — regardless of which treatment they were uploaded with. The gallery can be filtered by media type:

  • All — all media
  • Images — photos and graphics only
  • Videos — video files only
  • Documents — PDFs, lab results, and other files

Using the email composer, you can send media as attachments to pet owners or veterinarians. In the media tab of the composer, select the desired files.


To remove media, open the media view and click the delete icon. A confirmation prompt will appear before the file is permanently removed.
