You work in a single view where you record assessments, mark findings on anatomical animal models, attach photos, and dictate everything hands-free using the AI voice function. The result is a professional report that you can export as a PDF with one click or send directly via email.

Starting a Treatment

Create a treatment

You can start a new treatment in two ways:
- Quick option: Click New Treatment in the top right of the header and select an animal — your most recently treated animals are suggested directly.
- Via the patient record: Open the desired animal under Animals in the menu and click + New Treatment.
In both cases, the treatment view opens immediately with the appropriate animal model.
Record the medical history

At the bottom of the screen, you will find the fixed Medical History button. Behind it are all the documentation fields:
- History and changes since the last visit
- Gait analysis, palpation, and visual inspection
- Therapy, medication, and feeding
- Housing, psyche, equipment, and free-form notes
Each field provides a rich text editor with formatting, lists, and tables. Additionally, you can insert a text template in any field with one click, so you do not have to rewrite recurring content every time.

Want to keep your hands free? Use the AI voice function: simply dictate your observations, and TheraTap automatically distributes the text into the appropriate fields. Ideal when you are working on the go in the stable, on the pasture, or directly with the animal.
Mark findings on the animal model

As soon as you open the treatment, the animal model matching the species is loaded automatically. You can visually mark:
- Pain points and tension
- Blockages and restricted movement
- Temperature differences, scars, and other notable findings
Over 50 anatomical views are available — from bones and muscles to joints and fascia, as well as acupuncture points and organs. Switch between views (left, right, front, back) and categories. Each combination saves its markings separately.

Use different colors to distinguish assessment categories (e.g., red for pain, blue for tension), and add text labels directly on the model. You can attach a comment with a severity level to each marking.
Attach photos, videos, and documents

At the bottom of the screen, you will find the Media button. There you can upload files:
- Photos — e.g., assessment images, progress documentation
- Videos — e.g., gait analyses, movement studies
- Documents — e.g., X-rays, lab results, expert reports
On mobile devices, you can also use the camera directly to take a photo. All media are automatically stored in the patient record and accessible across multiple treatments.
Save

Click Save. The treatment is archived in the patient record and can be reopened, edited, or supplemented at any time.

TheraTap saves your entries automatically in real time. Even if you lose your connection, no data is lost — in offline mode, everything is saved locally and synchronized when you reconnect.

Custom Medical History Forms

In addition to the standard fields, you can create custom medical history forms under Settings that are tailored to your practice. You decide which fields are displayed — e.g., text fields, dropdowns, checkboxes, date fields, or file uploads. A default form can be assigned per species, which is loaded automatically.

After Saving

Once the treatment is saved, all further processing options are available:

Generate PDF	A professional PDF with your practice logo, medical history, assessment data, and optionally the animal model graphics is created.
Send via email	Send the report directly from TheraTap to pet owners, veterinarians, or other professionals — with templates and multiple recipients.
Share online link	Each treatment receives a shareable link with a QR code. Pet owners can view the assessment directly in the browser — without login and without an app.
Duplicate treatment	Create a copy of the treatment as a starting point for the next session — including all medical history data and markings.
Create therapy plan	Provide your clients with clear instructions for follow-up care — as a PDF or via email.
Send to LexWare Office	Transfer the treatment data directly as an invoice draft to your accounting software.

The entire assessment workflow is optimized for all input methods:
